Paula's choice RESIST treatment 10% AHA

I bought Paula's choice RESIST WEEKLY RESURFACING TREATMENT WITH 10% AHA 3 weeks ago so I have used it 3 times. Each and every time I have got a big spot on the right hand side of my cheek, so I now have 3 spots in different stages of maturity, one for each week I have used this product.

I usually have no sports, ever, not on my face anyway so i am certain this product is causing them. Should this be expected every time or will my skin get used to this product?

I broke out with the aha products. The 1 percent bha gel suits me better though I get very oily if I use it daily, so I use it a few times a week only.
