Comparing multiple primers/blushers/etc - without buying lots of different ones.

I have a friend who is a bit of a makeup junkie.

She's started to feel guilty about buying gazillions of blushers/primers/whatever that she buys.

So she's started a Facebook group to discuss makeup, and is posting "here are 4 primers that I bought and this is which is the best".

It's certainly cheaper than buying and comparing myself.

Yes me too! I don't tend to make mistakes as such but I'm not sure how one person can get through 60 odd bottles of the stuff so I can see some gifting coming up in due course

What type are you into? I like anything tea, citrus, bergamot, white flowers-y

My "mistakes " are more stuff that others have bought me which I don't like. My exMIL still punishes me every Christmas with Nina Ricci scented soaps etc which I have to try to look grateful for...

I've got a bottle of Daisy which I'm not keen on and a bottle of Jo Malone White Jasmine and Mint which should be yum, but is the oddest smelling thing ever.

Oh man, everything? I have no type and I'm very unfaithful ( bit like how I was before I got married, come to think of it )

I'm intrigued by the Jo Malone.. I'm going to concentrate on the perfume swaps tonight I think and get that started

I love perfumes! And have far too many!

I found that i wasn't using them because i would forget to use before i left for work. My solution was to buy some little atomisers [the Travalo ones], fill them with various perfumes and it means when I get to work i can choose what i want for the day.

At the minute, I have Coco Mademoiselle, EL Pleasures, Tommy Girl [retro! Happy memories!] and a cheaper perfume by Giorgio Bev Hills in my handbag. I'm not lugging around a big glass bottle in my handbag, and i am getting to use and enjoy my perfumes. I have another couple of atomisers in the house, one for Chanel Allure [am between bottles but always come back to it!] and one for an as yet undecided....

Ah I love Tommy Girl! It's my Uni days in a bottle :)
