I am slim when viewed from the side but broad shouldered and square when viewed from the front. What kind of style should I go for, for a winter wedding? Have ordered a sparkly gold knitted dress from Boden but it makes me look very broad. What style should o be looking for?

I am on the John Lewis website and found this:
Kaliko
does this seem better? The colour seems a bit too pale for my pale skin red hair combo but is the style ok?
If you happen to see anything else on here that looks good please feel free to suggest?
Thanks ever so

So I have trawled around JL today during the sale and come up with zilch. So, is there anyway, with cunning use of acessories I can salvage the dress I have bought? Would a long twinkly necklace lead the eye away from my lack of waist?
Maybe I just need to buy a corset!

Possibly could be good. I personally don't ever wear belts like that as it make my tummy look bigger but perhaps you have a flat stomach (unlike me)?

Since I had another human being growing in my stomach, it's not quite as taut as it once was - but it's ok really. I probably wouldn't get a belt, but I wondered if any kind of cunning scarfage (or a bell tent) may do the trick?
