Outfit of the day!

I finished my newest circle skirt last night and decided to wear it today, with my poofy petticoat (as earlier in the week). It's red cherries on black background, and I'm wearing it with a red vest top, a black shrug and some cherry-print Keds that are ages old but very favourite.

I looked in the mirror and thought "completely OTT for school run!" but I DON'T CARE! It's very glam and swishy and I feel extremely happy.

Good for you. Please can you tell me which pattern you used for the skirt?

Hi Tarq, I used the calculator on snug bug and cut my own pattern on flipchart paper.

And then I used patterns for pockets and a waistband from a packet pattern.

The first one I made is just on a wide elastic waistband but this one has a proper fabric one with a button!
