Best products for naturally curly hair?

After straightening my curly hair for years I have decided to embrace my natural look.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good product to use before/after diffusing?
My hair is curling but has some areas of frizz. Don't know if they've got better but I always found mousse made my hair look too heavy in the 90's.

Umberto Giannini Scrunching Jelly works for me. There's also a forum called British Curlies which would be worth you checking out, all sorts of recommendations on there

There's been loads of threads about this subject already, I suggest you do a search and you'll find lots of good advice!

Very curly haired DD uses Shockwaves Curls and Waves mousse in the red can. She applies it to damp hair by scrunching then lets it dry naturally. You can usually find it on offer somewhere for about £2. Other DD who has more waves than curls uses pink tub of Boots Essentials curl crème .

If you are not already doing the curly girl method then I recommend it. Loads of threads on it and info on the net generally.
Best product I have found is ECO 100% argan oil gel for styling and Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie to tame any frizz/fly away after styling.

I've gone the other way and back to attempting to wear it straight, however I was natural for years so some recommendations.
Consider going Curly Girl as mentioned, it's the best thing for helping with frizz and any dryness.
I loved the Umberto Gianni mentioned above, alternated it with Boots Curl Creme.
If you're not doing Curly Girl, Aveda Be Curly styling cream is the best thing ever. However it's not CG compliant, apparently. It didn't do any harm to my hair though.
There's a CG Facebook group too. Until a few months ago it was nearly all British members so the product recommendations were all appropriate (assuming you're in the UK!). it's now gone global so a lot of posts are irrelevant to the UK market. let me know if you want the link.

Can I ask you curlies a question... Will it be possible to swap between drying my hair curly and drying it straight every few days? Or will the times I straighten it cause damage that results in frizz on the curly days?

crab, I found that it was the products I used on straight days that were more problematic than the actual blow drying and straighteners.

Oooh that's interesting Senada. Were there specific products that you found worked well to straighten but didn't mess with the curl?

I think I will emerse myself in the curly girl info tonight. I'm having to wash my hair more than often to get the pesky pollen out of it ATM, so I'm trying to avoid straightening it too often, but my curls seem increasingly to be just a frizzy mess

Isn't boots curl cream meant to be brilliant?
