I'm in need of some inspiration with this up & down weather-cold mornings for school run then warmer later. Have mostly been wearing rolled-up chinos with tshirts and converse. Today:
-navy /ivory Breton top-boden
-indigo Amelie skinnies -r island
-white converse
....how about you - please inspire me!

Light pink dress, from simply be

I wore black skinny jeans and a loose black vest with flowers on it. Both from Primark.

I wore 3/4 length jeans with a vintage m&s grey long sleeved top with lace patten on arms and chest (charity shop!). Grey converse

At work (half day) - black trousers and fitted Orange top from
H&m
After work - light blue skinny jeans, light grey fitted t shirt

Boden blue long sleeved scoop neck top
Uniqlo dark blue skinnies (no, my legs haven't seized up yet...)

Birkenstock Gizeh sandals in blue/red

Now I'm home from work and my evening class I'very swapped the skinnies for some Asda George loose pants (just in case)

I wore indigo skinnies and a dusky pink fine knit over a vest top with black pumps.

Well, I'm not very inspirationally dressed right now - wearing Lidl harems and an old Gul hoody.

But earlier, for work, I was wearing a really nice stretchy black dress from M&S Autograph which was recommended here a couple of weeks ago. With black wedge sandals.

I wore black tapered trousers, cream sleeveless drape top, black patent kitten heels, light coloured cotton blazer and a big black and cream scarf.

Tomorrow, I have no idea! My repertoire is limited in the unpredictable British summer. I dress at 6.30am ready for a commuter train an hour later. Chance of being appropriately dressed by the time I get to my office at 9am is slim, let alone for lunchtime or the return journey!

I bought the denim jacket recently and it's a revelation - I can wear all the summer dresses I keep buying even if it's not that warm, as I can bung the jacket over the top! Obvious yet revelatory.

I'm in another Autograph dress today - this one is a navy and white striped midi dress, quite fitted with a high neck and short sleeves. Lovely, but I have to hold my tummy in! Worn with navy Rieker sandals.
