Where do you shop for night attire

I like a short chemise style night dress as it gives me a bit more shape.

I struggle to find what I like in our stores but have been lucky enough to bring stuff back from America.

Haven't been for a while though.

There are lots of these on Figleaves.

Whathaveilost · 23/06/2015 07:06

Debenhams or M and S

PetiteBateau · 23/06/2015 08:38

Tk maxx

These are the holy grail of nightwear. They're supposed to be slips, but are perfect for wearing in bed. They feel cool on the skin, they are made from the most comfortable fabric ever, they're pretty flattering (well, they are on me - size 12-14, less than perfect bod) and they come in two different lengths and black, white and a natural sort of colour that is best avoided if you don't want to look like a squashed raw sausage. I can't recommend them enough and urge you all to buy at least one.

Ah don't live near a sainsburys . Yes sometimes tkmaxx produce the goodies.

I haven't seen that one in m and s . I have a voucher to spend so will look tomorrow. My two from m ans s have been a bit of a disappointment. They have expanded from a 14. To what looks like an 18. Shapeless baggy thing it is.

Will look at asos and fig leaves and sainsburys on line.

I think I'm due a trip to America.....cough! Cough! Hint!

I like this but dp said it would make me look like a virgin from a Gothic horror novel, so I didn't buy it! I only want to wear 100% cotton in bad and M&S seem to think cotton nightwear must be white. I really don't want to look like either a virgin or a sleepwalking Lady Macbeth whilst in bed!

This one is the only non-pale M&S cotton one, but if you are anything over a B cup it's unlikely to work. It was absolutely terrible on me, even when I tried sizing up.

The White Company are sometimes worth a look, but I only buy in the sale. Pretty but not cotton

And another non cotton one

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/06/2015 17:21

bed not bad

TheFairyCaravan · 23/06/2015 17:23

I most of mine in Primark. Everything I own from there is 100% cotton. I've just spent 6 weeks in pyjamas, it's all the same size and shape as it was when I bought it even with DH doing the washing.

afink · 23/06/2015 19:19

Dowser do give them a try - I have one that I've had for 6 years and it hasn't gone out of shape at all. They wash and wear really well.

silasramsbottom · 23/06/2015 19:25

I've bought slips from figleaves. I've also seen some nice slip/chemise styles on brastop.com
