Do these shoes exist?

Navy trainer type shoe with good arch support for walking & working (on feet all day) but also trendy enough for wearing in a city.
Skechers were suggested but they have bright laces & my uniform says plain shoes.
Also, I have very narrow feet so Gabor are out.

Change the laces to toned down colours?

Dawndonnaagain · 22/06/2015 18:46

I live in www.merrell.com/UK/en_GB/jungle-moc/16256W.html?dwvar_16256W_color=J60826#cgid=womens-footwear-slip-ons&start=1 they're black but you may be able to get away with it. I got them on another site for thirty pounds less than here. They are supremely comfortable and I walk five miles in them regularly. I have no idea if they are trendy or otherwise, but the website may be worth a look.

Fitflops?

cathcustard · 22/06/2015 18:55

Thanks for the comments.
Flit flops are out because I need to wear socks. The Skechers also have pink bits on the sole so might be too risqué for work.
The Merrell's look a possibility, I'm looking at the website. Ae they good for narrow feet?

I meant the laceup or slip on loafer styles.

StrangeGlue · 22/06/2015 18:59

Try Gabor they do dark style trainers and are c good for narrow feet

BikeRunSki · 22/06/2015 19:21

nottheOP · 22/06/2015 19:23

Kids are narrow and often go up to a 7. Might be worth a look

cathcustard · 22/06/2015 19:54

Thanks for the help.
The Flit Flop ones look good, are they really comfortable?
I'd like some Merrell's just for walking in.

You can always colour in any small patches of bright colour with a Sharpie.

I did this with some pink flashes on a pair of my walking sandals before I passed them onto my DS Smile

Dawndonnaagain · 22/06/2015 21:44

I have very narrow feet and the Merrell shoes are amazing. I honestly can't sing their praises enough. I also have another problem with my feet and my toes can break easily, well, snap like pencils, but these seem to offer enough protection as well as comfort.

Debenhams have a number of pairs of plain black Skechers in their sale ie. www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_052010240760_-1

Also hotter which I gather are very comfy.

jugglingmonkey · 24/06/2015 09:02

Ecco do some very comfortable smart trainers...
