Maxi dress for a wedding?

Hi, I'm attending a wedding in a couple of months and wanted to get peoples opinions on maxi dresses. I'm a size 20 and don't like showing my legs off!

I've been looking at this one on ASOS but not sure if it's suitable?

Thanks

It's nice but it's a bit bridesmaidy. You could be mistaken for one...

Ah that's what I was worried about, the bridesmaids will be willing purple

I wore one at the weekend. Wedding was supposed to be an evening wedding but DH got timing wrong, it was actually a late afternoon/evening wedding. Out of 50 guests there were about 5 maxis. The bridesmaids were wearing short dresses so no one was mistaken as a bridemaid.

It's very nice. Next have a couple that are very nice and fancier material so suitable for a wedding.
