Desperate to find this in a size 8

I started a thread last night which sadly remained unanswered asking for help accessorising a Fenn Wright Manson dress.

I haven't got the dress yet but am keeping my options open because my brothers wedding for which I need the dress is only weeks away and I haven't had much luck yet.

Next UK do have it but I can't register to buy as I'm in Ireland and Next Ireland don't have the dress.

Please please please can someone find this dress for me in a size 8? I'm getting desperate to get something at this stage and this dress could really fit the bill. I live 1.5 hours away from any decent shops and have a 6 month old so shopping online would be much easier for me.

Can you order it from the UK site and parcel motel it??

Or could you not get someone you know to order it for you? I have browsed online and its the only place where there is an 8 that i can find. You could also try emailing next?

Have you tried ringing Brown Thomas and BT2? I was looking for something that I couldn't find in my size. Brown Thomas in Cork took an order over the phone and posted it to Dublin.

Otherwise, as Silly sausage said, order it from next uk and Parcel Motel it.

Sillysausage2 - the Next UK site forces me to register in order to checkout and in order to do that they require the house number and postal code for the billing address and from that they deduce the address and it says you have to be a UK resident. 'Tis fierce annoying!! Thanks for the suggestion though!

Greengardenpixie-unfortunately I don't really know anyone in the UK well enough to ask them to order something for me. Most of the people I do know I know professionally. I will definitely email Next and thanks so much for looking!

BurnishedSilver - Thanks, am definitely going to do this on the morning! Fingers crossed one of them has an 8 left. It's lovely isn't it! And the stupid thing was I saw it a couple of months ago and thought how lovely it was but reckoned I'd have millions of other lovely dresses to choose from. I was wrong!!!

Brown Thomas in Grafton St and BT2 in blanchardstown definately have Phase Eight. I'm not sure what other branches do. BT2 Dundrum and Grafton St. don't. . I believe that Debenhams in the Ilac Centre are also stocking it now. Fingers crossed..

I haven't tried Next UK but on other sites I've managed to get around the UK billing address thing by paying with PayPal instead.

Actually, I'm wrong. I vaguely remember I did manage to use Parcel Motel and Next UK by paying with PayPal instead of a credit card. Give it a go.

BT in Limerick do Phase Eight too, if that's any use.

I agree that the Next UK & Ireland sites are very annoying. I've had the same problem with them.

Oooh thanks Burnished, will try! Excuse my ignorance but I'm pretty new to the work of PayPal believe it or not. How would that work, do I just contact customer services and suggest paying by PayPal as a workaround? I use Parcel Motel quite a bit so I'm ok with that part of it!

I know! I spotted a stunning dress on the Next UK site recently, then found out I couldn't get it here.

I think BTs in Galway have Phase Eight too, so do try ringing them up. Lovely dress by the way.

I had phoned several stores here in Ireland who all told me this dress had only been sent to flagship stores in the UK and I phoned Next who told me there was nothing I could do about getting it from the UK website so I had given up all hope.

And then I just happened to check in to MN and saw your message and managed to nab the last one!!! HoF definitely didn't show a size 8 last night so their inventory must have updated with returns in the meantime. Thank you so much and to everyone else who helped

Haha no problems, I was HUNTING something down like a madwoman the other day and had an assistant in monsoon hand it to me after looking through the shop for it as a return so thought I'd see if I could pass on the good luck.
