Can't get bra sizing right

Was wearing a 34c which was a very old bra, but the only one that didn't rub and make me sore!!!
Went and got measured and I am actually 32d/Dd apparently it will depend on what style the bra is.
Admittedly the back size is much better, secure fit, no rubbing, band now sits in the right place and the whole thing dosent rise up when I raise my arms. However I have enormous underarm fat bulge with every bra I try. Is this normal or is the size wrong? I am only a size 8 so don't have obvious fat anywhere else??

where did you get measured? I would expect a size 8 to need a smaller band than 32.

Underarm fat bulge usually means that the cup is too small.

Where were you measured? A size 8 is probably going to mean you're closer to a 28 or 30 band, and I'd lay money on something like an F cup. Measure according to these instructions and report back!
