Maternity / nursing bra intervention help

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and in need of a better bra. For months I've been wearing some bravado non under wired ones as my underwired ones were really irritating me.

So I've just measured myself again and am 40" under and 44" around (I was last interventioned as a 36E/DD from the far too small 36B I'd warn for years) which seems to put me at a whopping 40JJ even though my boobs still seem to me to be 'small'.

Anyway, does anyone have any nursing bra suggestions in this size? I can only picture something arriving with huge cups that no amount of scooping will ever fill! I should go to bravissimo but trying to avoid Central London in the heat! And ive heard they don't have a great range of nursing bras. Also thinking maybe just wait out the next few weeks and see if I get bigger after milk comes in? When I have even less chance of getting in to town! First baby so no idea what else is going to happen to my boobs.

Oh darn have I converted wrong? I measured 40/44-45ish! The better bra campaign said GG would be 40" around so I added to that. I thought it seemed big...

40" would be a GG if it was attached to a 30 band. 40/45 would be about a 40DD

Thank you - that sounds much more realistic seeing as it's mostly my ribs that seem to have increased in size, and I do have some DD bras. And yes I think the example on the blog I was using a 30 band. Now off to browse some bras!

Don't buy nursing bras before your milk comes in. It's likely that your ribs will shrink, but cup size will go up - but there's no way in telling how much exactly. Do get a comfy bra that fits you right now though.

Yes that's a bit sly of me isn't it? I just don't know when I'll be able to go out for a fitting! I'm going to grab some hopefully cheapish and cheerful for the next 6 weeks or so then measure again after baby is here. So don't be surprised if I himp this as I've worked it out wrong again.
