Help me find a new perfume?

Hi - any suggestions gratefully received! I've been wearing CK Euphoria for the last eight years. Prior to this, I've loved Lancôme Miracle, Estée Lauder Pleasures, J'Adore, Agua Fresca de Rosas, Eternity Moment.

So - based on that selection, what else might I like? Something fresh and summery is the aim.

Many thanks in advance!

I bought Dior's Miss Dior "Blooming bouquet" last week, which is a lovely light floral (but not sweet and sickly).

rubyslippers · 19/06/2015 17:31

Marc Jacobs daisy is lovely

Blacksquirrel · 19/06/2015 18:35

I've recently started wearing CK Endless Euphoria. I think it's new...lovely

Gem124 · 19/06/2015 21:44

I like Armani Si

If you put your current favourites into the diagnostic on the Nose website, it will give you a list you might like and you can order them as samples.
Be warned, of my 7 samples, I loved 1, thought 1 was nice enough but wouldn't buy, thought 3 were sweet and sickly, 1 was so sweet I felt sick and 1 was Eau de rotting melin skin. Grin

I tried the Nose website Sangria but decided I prefer to stick with more mainstream fragrances as I tried Mitsouko, which was the only one I'd heard of, and thought it a bit Hmm on me

I bought Light Blue for everyday in the summer and am also trying a new one that I got at the airport which is coming out on the high streets soon, Gucci Bamboo. Still looking for a "forever fragrance" though

Chicinwellies · 21/06/2015 13:33

I love Gucci bamboo, also airport purchase last week. Elie Saab resort collection is lush, and alien absolue.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 21/06/2015 14:03

Calm- yes, I have decided I am a vintage girl, and so am concentrating on pre 90 fragrances in order to justify my obsession!

Which is why I am currently slathered in Paris and have some 70s Fidji winging its way to me!

BaronessBomburst · 21/06/2015 14:07

The Nose website sounds fun!
My favourite perfumes have nothing in common so I'll be interested to see what it makes of me.

CalmYoBadSelf · 21/06/2015 17:47

Sangria I remember hating Fidji at the time but can't remember what it smelt like or why I disliked it. I loved Rive Gauche back in the day but, somehow, it doesn't smell the same now as I thought it smelled back then and I loved K de Krizia but it is hard to get and the last one I got was off. I do sometimes still wear Charlie though, that's the fragrance of my youth!

Chic Glad you like Bamboo too, always a good sign when others agree

Baroness The only trouble with Nose it that it recommends fragrances that may be lovely but are so obscure I've never heard of them. It never says any mainstream stuff, or at least it never has for me and I am not a conoisseur

GilbertBlytheWouldGetIt · 21/06/2015 17:51

Prada infusion d'iris

BitOfFun · 21/06/2015 17:54

Oh Paris. I'd forgotten how much l love that.

Picachew · 21/06/2015 17:58

Anyone tried Paris Rebel? I really like it.

BitOfFun · 21/06/2015 18:09

No- tell us more!

Picachew · 21/06/2015 18:16

I fell over it in John Lewis. It's a limited edition of Paris with a smidge of green tomato leaf apparently. I really liked it but it's £86 and I've never spent more than £40 on a perfume so I'm a bit panicked in case I get it and hate it after a week!

Picachew · 21/06/2015 18:20

£83

DrankSangriaInThePark · 21/06/2015 18:46

I am bloody loving Paris again at the moment. Takes me immediately to 1987 and au-pairing.
I agree re Rive Gauche, I wore it a lot late 80s but had some last year and find it quite bitter now. I suppose like my other 80s favourites Ysatis and Chanel 19 (though I think Chanel transcend time tbh) and Miss Dior, they have been changed. Sad
I've ordered the Fidji because I remember sitting next to a really sophisticated woman on a plane who bought some.

Sorry for hijack! I need to smell this Paris Rebel now!

BaronessBomburst · 21/06/2015 22:47

I'm glad you said that about Ysatis. I thought it was just me.
They've mucked around with Arpege again too, I've noticed. :(
