What is nip and fab?!

I keep coming across the name - I'm hopelessly uninformed about beauty stuff but am trying to make a concerted effort to look better Grin So, can anyone tell me what it's all about and if it's any good? Is there anything that gets rid of serious lines and wrinkles (especially the frown lines on my forehead?)

Apparently they do a really fab acid toner pads, I've had them recommended a number of times. Not sure about the rest! I've just bought them for the first time as boots has them half price on line... £6.50 instead of £13.

Thanks Gem. Are the pads the same as toner then ie: used after cleansing, or something different ? I've looked on the boots website but the descriptions aren't v clear!

They are the high street brand of Rodial (the brand with all the horrible 'cosmetic surgery esque' marketing).

You cleanse then use the pads, serum then moisturiser. They have fab reviews, looking forward to picking mine up later.

Their shower gel is crap, though. Like watered down washing up liquid.

Pads are great. I've been using them after following threads on here and they've definitely brightened up my skin.

i bought some of their self tan gel, and whilst the colour was good, it was streaky because the gel balled up when you rubbed it in

They do a GREAT cc cream

I use the Nip + Fab glycolic acid pads and really love them. A couple of times per week is enough for me, each pad has a generous amount of product too.

NomiMalone · 19/06/2015 17:26

Just an FYI, the pads are half price on Superdrugs website.

I've just bought some.

I don't understand why so many on here are happy to pay a premium to have the liquid pre applied to pads though? Grin I use Bravura's glycolic toner and it comes in a bottle which I squirt on to pads myself, surely more cost effective? But I'm clearly in a minority for finding it weird - to me it's like pre grated cheese or something.
