I have long hair (almost reaches my knicker elastic) that is mostly straight but actually a bit wavy if I let it dry without brushing. I never get greasy hair ever, no matter how long I leave it between washes so I suspect it's very much on the dry side.

What bothers me though, is at my hairline I have a lot of shorter hairs (a couple of inches long at most) that frizz and curl all the bloody time! Little coils and ringlets but only at my hairline. The rest of my hair is straight (I guess the length gives it enough weight not to curl like that. It's really annoying!

I've tried so many shampoos. Anything claiming to be anti-frizz doesn't work. If anything, my hair ends up even frizzier on next wash. I've tried no-sulphate shampoo and silicone-free conditioners and don't notice an improvement. I sometimes do a condition-shampoo-rinse-condition-rinse and that sometimes helps. Deep conditioners I avoid, because they make my hair tanglesome.

I tend to go for moisturising shampoos and conditioners but I need a really GOOD one. Preferably available on the high street, though I am willing to splash out or look online for a miracle in a bottle if it comes really highly recommended.

Oh and please don't recommend Aussie miracle anything. I absolutely LOATHE the smell of that stuff.

Try Aveda Damage remedy. I don't use the shampoo (found it too much together, vv soft), but the conditioner is fab, makes hair very swishy and shiny.
