So excited as have managed to get an appointment Smile

Who has been to see her or other top dermatologists? What happens? Did you find it helpful?

Hmm, I reckon a tube of Azelaic cream, doxycycline tablets and gradual introduction of tretinoin.

Joking aside I'd find it hard to concentrate on her words I'd be ogling her skin so much! Must feel great / great hope to be accessing such help, before you've even taken her advice. Bet works out really well for you

Kundry · 16/06/2015 20:50

No way is she going to give you doxycycline!

I'm guessing Cetaphil, salicylic acid and tretinoin Grin

Please can you tell her she has some Mumsnet obsessives fans and to come back and do more Q&A

So jealous. Make copious notes and please report back!

Dullygreygirl · 18/06/2015 11:59

I don't even know what doxycycline is Grin This is why I have had to take drastic action and make the appointment, because I am massively confused when it comes to all the products available. I haven't a clue!

Ah - I see doxycyline is for acne? I don't have acne, I get a couple of blemishes around my period but other than that I'm not concerned.

It's dull, coarse, congested skin I want to sort out.

Wow, that sounds like it could be really useful! Please do report back!

HFelton · 16/11/2020 12:34

Hi, I know this is from a while ago but did she help your coarse skin? I'm also trying to make a booking with her as I have the same issue but it has been really hard to get in. Please let me know if she has helped you and if so what she recommended. :)

Lndnmummy · 16/11/2020 12:46

Ohhhh I’m so jealous!!! Can I come?

iwanttolookbetter · 16/11/2020 13:30

What is your skin congested with if not acne, can I ask?

HFelton · 16/11/2020 16:12

Hi, I'm not sure if that question was for me but mine's a combination of comedones and texture change on my forehead and temples. My forehead looks permanently bumpy and coarse. It bothers me so much. It was perfectly smooth until I hit my mid 30's.

Lndnmummy, you can come. :)

iwanttolookbetter · 16/11/2020 20:21

Sorry, it was for Dullygreygirl, HFelton, but I'm interested in all things skin so I was interested anyway! I also have plenty of comedones but have always considered them the least of my problems!
