So excited as have managed to get an appointment

Who has been to see her or other top dermatologists? What happens? Did you find it helpful?

Hmm, I reckon a tube of Azelaic cream, doxycycline tablets and gradual introduction of tretinoin.

Joking aside I'd find it hard to concentrate on her words I'd be ogling her skin so much! Must feel great / great hope to be accessing such help, before you've even taken her advice. Bet works out really well for you

I don't even know what doxycycline is This is why I have had to take drastic action and make the appointment, because I am massively confused when it comes to all the products available. I haven't a clue!

Ah - I see doxycyline is for acne? I don't have acne, I get a couple of blemishes around my period but other than that I'm not concerned.

It's dull, coarse, congested skin I want to sort out.

What is your skin congested with if not acne, can I ask?

Hi, I'm not sure if that question was for me but mine's a combination of comedones and texture change on my forehead and temples. My forehead looks permanently bumpy and coarse. It bothers me so much. It was perfectly smooth until I hit my mid 30's.

Sorry, it was for Dullygreygirl, HFelton, but I'm interested in all things skin so I was interested anyway! I also have plenty of comedones but have always considered them the least of my problems!
