Can someone recommend a great stylist in London?

After posting my thread about colour, and going and having a good stare at my hair I realised it's all kind of a disaster. It needs a good overhaul.

What I've heard is that to get a really great stylist I should ask for personal recommendations rather than choose a salon?

I don't mind going somewhere else for a cut which is why I made another thread!

Where should I go and who should I ask for?!

After having lots of people mucking up the colour of my hair I feel I'm an expert in this! Since January (so that's 3 sets of highlights) I've been going to Four on Conduit Street they are brilliant!

No, only half a head, but that's what they advised me. Also, although it's a high end salon they don't pressurise you into having your hair cut as well as coloured (which I found all local salons did).

Have looked at their site and fallen in love - I so want to go!

£300 approx for a full head of highlights though! I guess this is on a par with all the other big salons?
