Okay so I'm naturally an auburn colour & dye my hair dark brown. When my roots come through, I don't really see any grey, maybe one or two stray strands. But my roots are very stubborn to dye.
I've tried the VS Salonist hair colour a couple of times in dark brown & darkest brown, which I really love the colour as it comes out just that, dark brown without it being black or any reddish tones. Only like other permanent colours, it does fade over time.
So I'm looking to try another brand. I've tried nice & easy, which leaves a great shine but doesn't always cover my stubborn roots!
I want a dark brown, no red tones and doesn't look black, that will cover my roots, so I'm guessing it will be like treating grey hair. I've heard the loreal excellence creme might be a good one? But how will their dark brown turn out, will it be more black?
