Ankle bracelets - classy or trashy

Fine on holiday.

Back to work then no.

I can't say they are classy or trashy though - neither of those descriptors match. I think they are beachy.

Interested in people's views on this too. I would like to get one but wonder whether it might be seen as trashy. It isn't to me but not sure about general opinion on this item.

Not for me, always think of them as common,sorry!

I've heard the connotation with prostitutes too. But obviously that doesn't mean people who wear them are. I'd veer on trashy but that's probably because they are not my style at all.

On holiday, great. Apparently prostitutes wear them on the left ankle, or is that the right? Lol

Wow! I think they look pretty- had no idea of the apparent subtexts ...
