How can I get rid of a red chest?

My chest was sunburnt or wind burnt many years ago quite badly. Now it's healed, it left a red blotch a la Deirdre Barlow across my chest frim the tip of my bosom to the Base of my neck

It's hideous and ages me. Is there anything I can do? I've google but all i can see is laser therapy and I can't quite afford that

Following with interest - I also have this! I was at a posh do the other day and a friend commented that I'd caught the sun

I keep meaning to do a concerted effort for a few months with bio oil but am lazy

Do you think bio oil will help? I've 4 weeks before an event where I have to be in pics and I'd rather not have it!
