Does anyone actually still wear hold ups for everyday?

I often wear them, I prefer them to tights.

I always wear tights, yet my skirts are quite short. Might return to hold ups in the winter as feel less hot

I tried them, but they made my thighs itch like mad so I went back to tights. What about trying suspender tights?

I've just gone back to them, as the only place I ever found body-free tights was BhS, and they seem to have stopped doing them. I'm finding House of Fraser own brand really good- very comfortable. I just can't wear nude, low-denier tights. I'm fine with opaque ones in winter, but the nylon crotch of the thin kind does bad TMI things to me.

How u find men find them?

By looking in the hosiery department, or at my legs.

I found that hold ups were either like a tourniquet round my thighs, or embarrassingly slipped down.

I find that a good, deep & supportive suspender belt plus stockings is a far more comfortable solution, and is more hygienic than tights.

But is that practical everyday?

I don't wear sheer hosiery everyday, but when I do, I like to feel supported and confident. Also, I like to be able to pee without soiling my hose (did I actually say that?)

The time spent in leg shaving and nail painting is a lot more than that required for fastening the clasps of a suspender belt.

And don't underestimate the appeal of a matching bra & suspender belt in the evening!
