Raised / dropped waist dresses ?

Anyone spotted any lovely dresses with raised / dropped waists this summer?

Not sure what my body shape is but I look like a sack of spuds in anything flarey or with a very-defined waistband... (i.e. the stuff the shops are full of).

I usually like stuff from gap / esprit and in my head would like to be more edgy than frumpy (currently failing miserably)... but having no luck finding anything this year.

Thanks!

That's nice. In the style of Gap - Uniqlo have some nice dropped waist casual dresses in a soft stretchy T shirt fabric for only £15.

I've just discovered People Tree. Worth a look?

One of the Amazing MN Dress Finders will be along shortly, I'm sure.

Ah thanks. The uniqlo ones I saw were maybe a bit short for my bare legs though...

After more searching lay night I've ordered this one from boden - the brown one with the birds - what do you think?
