Shorter length maxi dresses

I'm 5'3" and all the maxi dresses I've tried are far too long. I'm not keen on the petite ones on Next. Where else could I find shorter length ones?

Dorothy Perkins petite is good

I have one from Oasis that's a good length for me (I'm 5'4).

Contraryish · 13/06/2015 07:16

Gap, M&S & Boden all do shorter length maxis.

Try asos. It's where I buy pretty much all my petite clothes.

Isme has their own brand called South that does lots of petite maxi dresses. And Boden but they're more expensive.

I am 5. Foot 1. I always take the hem up myself as I find that petite range maxi skirts & dresses are a weird slightly too short length. Same with trousers

CeeceeBloomingdale · 13/06/2015 08:57

I'm 5'2" and have just bought two perfect length ones from Dorothy Perkins petite.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 13/06/2015 08:58

To add they are floor length without shoes, agree with whoever said they are normally too short in petite ranges, these are true maxis

MrsFriskers · 13/06/2015 09:00

Muji seem to be shorter as standard

PetiteBateau · 13/06/2015 09:02

Ceecee, I will have to have a look Smile

Monsoon do a shorter length version of some of their maxis, usually listed on the site separately, rather than as one item with options to choose either length. I am 5'4 or 5'5 if I stand up straight, and I think they would be fine on you.

Just take the hem up!
