What would you put with this?

In reality the colour seems less blue and more teal than the photo. It's very flattering and as I'm quite short it comes to my knee (so not really a "mini" dress)

I want to wear it to go out to dinner for my DDad's birthday (70 years old and we're springing DM from hospital for the day, she's recovering from a stroke). But possibly need to dress it down a bit (in that I think my standard black stole/black shoes/black and silver bag might make it too dressy for the place we are going). Any ideas?

If it changes your suggestions I'm quite pale, dark shoulder length hair (which will be blow dried straight) and I'm short.

Managed to save a copy of the picture to make it easier....

I would out a tan skinny belt round the waist, tan wedges of you have them, hair down and I loose waves. Maybe Few bangles stacked on one wrist.

I don't have tan wedges, but that seems like a good excuse to buy some :)

Belts are a no go, I hate the feeling of them around my pretty ample middle. Would the nude wedges still look ok without the colour being matched on the dress? (I'm a bit dreadful at this whole style lark)
