Yes but no need for a hat

Not as posh as a wedding, I don't think. I'm going to one at the weekend - will probably wear a summer dress and a casual-ish jacket.

Hobby2014 · 10/06/2015 19:02

Ah damn.
We really don't 'do' dressed up. Need to go shopping.
So for DH does it need to be full on jacket shirt trousers and shoes or could it be jeans shoes and shirt for eg?
I don't wear heels so would some sort of sandal with a dress be ok? Skinny jeans and a blouse and jacket with sandals?
Thanks

Not jeans. That's too casual.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/06/2015 19:05

Sandals and a dress fine.

For dh, maybe chinos and a shirt? No need for a jacket unless it's cold.

DoloresLandingham · 10/06/2015 21:27

Absolutely no jeans for either of you. Trousers fine though.

Please don't wear what a guest at my DGD's christening wore!
It was a halter necked jumpsuit in black satin showing totally bare back, cleavage plunged to her waist and significant side boob. I reckon she was a b cup. Unfortunately so did Father Kevin the priest. His eyebrow rose a few inches. I hope that was the only part of his anatomy that did.
