It's beautiful, and if you'll get wear out of it, I'd go for it! Neutral colours which will do all year round, a classic shape and gorgeous fabric and print. If you keep everything else pretty simple, it'll really work.

Not sure tbh. I love bomber jackets but think it will date very quickly with that print. If it was navy I'd buy it in a heartbeat

EachandEveryone · 10/06/2015 14:16

Even though I'm a size 14? I haven't got a jacket for this weather

I dont like it.

It's not very summery and the print would hugely limit what I could wear with it.

burnishedsilver · 10/06/2015 14:28

It's a bit versace looking. Personally, it wouldn't appeal to me.

EachandEveryone · 10/06/2015 14:34

It is navy back ground and I got the last one. I can always takeout back.

What on earth would you wear with it ?

If you just want a jacket for itself and its your style and price bracket then go ahead. But if, as you say you, havent actually got any other jacket to wear in the summer then this is not the one for you.

polyhymnia · 10/06/2015 14:39

I agree with others. Too difficult to pair up with anything else to get a reasonable amount of wear out of it.

EachandEveryone · 10/06/2015 15:14

Ok. Thanks for the feedback. I thought navy skinnys, denim skirt, plain maxi dress/skirt. Neutral shades. I'll send it back. I was just drawn to it. I bought bronze sandals today so maybe it's a bling day. I like shiney things with very plain clothes.

I love shiny things with v plain clothes too but I think the patterns/floral/tropical vibe that's around at the moment will be over very soon. I think a top in that print for 40/50 quid would be great, but I can't see you getting £150 worth of wear out of the jacket. I also don't lurve it. Just my opinion of course.

louloubelle2 · 10/06/2015 18:58

Would it be nicer if I said it was going down to £75 in the sale which starts tomorrow? Not sure what sizes left as the sale preview email went out today.

louloubelle2 · 10/06/2015 19:00

Just saw you bought it full price. Take it back and rebuy when the sale starts, Whistles are usually pretty good about that. The only thing will be that they don't usually then offer refunds on sale stuff, so be sure you want it for £75!

EachandEveryone · 10/06/2015 19:00

I found it in the preview. I never pay full price at Whistles.

Oh good, and if you bought online you'll still be able to refund.

In a funny way, it could work with lots of things precisely because it's not a neutral, so might be worth trying it with a few different things you already have.

AmelieinOz · 10/06/2015 22:11

I think the print is very busy.
