I am going to a christening next weekend and planning to wear this dress from seraphine (I am pregnant!)

I have some light grey court shoes which I am planning to wear with it and hoping to find a light grey bag.
However I also want to get a shrug/cardigan to wear with it and not sure what colour to wear.
The dress is lavender so I initially thought purple but now I am not sure. My hubby suggested navy, is lavender, grey and navy too much colour?
Alternatively I thought maybe a darker grey but I cannot find anything suitable in dark grey. So confused!
