I can't wear pumps or heels of any variety but need flats for charging about town in ... I'll be wearing them in the office so they can't look like trainers

Something like skechers go walk May janes but without the white sole?

Aldo I have hairy toes and ugly feet so it the interests of the general public they must also be closed toe!! Grin

Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

What are you guys wearing on your feet.

What about those Toms canvas shoes? Lots of different materials/colours and they look comfy.

Use facial wax strips on the hairy toes.

shumway · 10/06/2015 10:26

I recommend skechers sweetpea.

Petal02 · 10/06/2015 10:53

PS - I like both the Clarks options.

PPS - there is no excuse for hairy toes !!!

I had the same issue! I've just bought these and they are very comfy but look less casual than trainers www.bellsshoes.co.uk/womens-c2/l2072-14-royal-colibri-p4546/s7629?cid=GBP&gclid=CLXQ8ZzyhMYCFW3LtAodiVkAUg

I've got Skechers go walk MJ's which have black soles, so they are out there. They're still the most comfortable shoes available as far as I'm concerned.
Mine had gone all grey & weird looking but I chucked them in the washing machine at the weekend & they're all nice & black again.

Something like the second clarks link, but with a thicker sole.

So maybe these or these

Next kidswear has lots of school shoes that go up to a 40/UK7

These are available in a 38/5 www.next.co.uk/x5d928s4#880104x55?i=uk5eu38

I can only wear flats since I tore my ankle ligaments just before Xmas. I like Gabor shoes for work, very comfortable but also smart.

Try searching for Gabor on Amazon - here's an example

flat black leather Gabor shoes

I second the Ecco recommendation, I have a pair of the Crisp shoes that Plexie linked to and they are super comfortable (very lightweight and flexible - some people might prefer more 'heft' though).

Even if the toes were bald, they'd still be uglyGrin

Some of these are really great thanks guys. I spent today in ballet pumps and my feet and bunions are on fiiiiire!
