I have my hen do coming up - afternoon tea and then cocktails in the evening and I have NO clothes!
This is not true, I have many dresses, most of which no longer fit across the bust post baby, even though baby is quite big now...
I am only 5'2 and wear a size 10 but have 34 E boobs. I really don't suit 50s dresses as high necklines make me look really matronly and big skirts make me look dumpy as aside from the breasts I am quite petite.

I would ideally like a tea dress then something for the evening.

Hayulp, hayulp? at this rate I'll be going out in my pajamas!

This is a dress from Get Cutie They have a range of fabrics and make them into retro style dresses some include a cup size to ensure a good fit (like the one I am wearing) d-e and e-g are included (I am gg). The dress I am in is flared but they do some very neat pencil dresses as well.

I second the bra intervention. When I was a size 10 I was wearing a 30 band size!

Watching with interest for dress suggestions because I'm pretty similar proportions!

I really like the look of some of the dresses on The Seamstress of Bloomsbury - worth a look if you want a tea dress style.

I've not braved a bra intervention but I am definitely no longer a 30 back as my old 30DD no longer fasten! I'll take a gander at those suggestions, thanks everyone!

I love that playsuit!
Could I wear it to Goodwood? (Current thread going on S&B about no clue what to wear!) or is it not formal enough?
You could definitely wear it for your night out OP!

I'm 35 and I wear playsuits, I have a few and I love the look of them for a night out.
I'm a size 10 (and 32D).
I have a fab navy geometric print one from Warehouse. It's about a bit of structure round the middle and the tailoring of the shorts bit.
Bugger to go to the toilet in though.

Thanks Leccy, I'm reassured!
