Soft/jersey jacket - have I missed the window?

I tend to be a late adopter when it comes to fashion only usually like things as everyone else starts to hate them , but I've finally found a jersey jacket that doesn't look like I've borrowed it from the person it actually fits. Am I too late or can I get at least the summer out of it?
