Capsule wardrobe- shoe help please!

I am planning my capsule wardrobe for a holiday (months away, but need to get organised). I am going with navy/ cream/ grey as basic colours. I want a pair of converse trainers to trot about in, play with DS and travel in.

What colour and style would you go for? I'd like to use them for my main holiday too, which will be in a cold place in August.

Silver leather or grey fabric.

Silver leather, more rainproof than the canvas ones.

Navy leather? Here

No silver or navy leather in my size- grey leather perhaps?

I would get white Superga! I've just bought a pair and they are much nicer than my old Converse. I got the leather versions to make them easier to keep clean.

I've had loads of compliments for mine - I'm a total convert now although the sizing is bizarre - they're very large IMO.

Good sizing- but very.....silver! Comfy though and guessing the dazzling colour will tone down a bit

White leather Converse here too - am delighted with them, and much better than my friend's canvas ones when we got caught in a rainstorm!

One day in and I am officially in love! Wore them with navy skinny trousers today for a very informal day in the office.
