Seriously brassic, going to a nice pub, great guy, he won't care but usually i'd get my hair blow dried or something.
I look ok, tiny bit over weight and do have some nice clothes etc.
What do you think would make maximum wow impact ?

Good luck. Be yourself and don't worry. If you are completely yourself and he likes you then that's great but if you pretend to be someone else and he likes you, then that's going to be hard work!

He is unlikely to notice your hair unless it has birds nesting in it.

Wear something you feel really good in. Have a nice, long, luxurious bath first and light make-up to emphasise your best bits. Hope you have a lovely time!

Yes, nice bath, paint your nails, nice scent, your favourite outfit, bit of make up... You don't need a blowdry or new clothes to have a great time!
