Can i wear this to a summer wedding?

Really hoping to get away with having to buy another wedding outfit, do you think I can make this into a summer outfit? And if so, what shoe colour would work best?

Mmm, it is a bit autumn/winter colour wise.
You could put cream / beige bag and shoes with it, but it is inherently winter looking to me.

What fabric is it? If it's polyester, you'll probably boil.

It's a thin knitted fabric - 81% cotton

I'd put metallic or aqua shoes etc with it to brighten it up

Yes of course you can. Nude or metallic sandals would be nice

What happens if it's hot?

It's no warmer then most summer dresses which are often lined. Hot and the UK aren't two things I put together, less than 26 degrees = jumper to me

the colour is not too summery for me, but the lace at least has a touch of non-winter about it. I'd still say no for this though
