Tinted moisturiser/ BB cream recommendations please

I need a new tinted moisturiser or maybe a BB cream for summer. Have used Nars (Finland) and Laura Mercier before and back in more affluent days pre-kids really liked Chantecaille. I'm mid 40s, fair skin, shiny nose but tendency to dehydration, skin otherwise pretty good. I'd like it to give a little bit of youthful glow but not shiny.
I've just tried a Missha one (no 13) but it was too ashen and felt drying on my skin.
What should I go for?

Bobbi Brown might suit you-they have a good colour selection that will hopefully not look too ashy on you.

I've tried lots and always come back to the Boots Botanics one.

The Bourjois CC cream is very nice, good coverage but not heavy on the skin.

Boots botanics is great. I have similar skin and I'm also 40. I've had Bobbi brown and Mac but have gone back to botanics it gives a lovely finish. And it's cheapish.

For a BB, I love Maybelline dream fresh, it's spf30
For tinted moisturiser, autograph illuminating tinted moisturiser from M&S is a great dupe for LM

Bobbi Brown do a really lovely tinted moisturising balm which is quite spendy (although not as much as Chantecaille), currently 10% off in John Lewis and Debenhams if you're interested. Gives a lovely dewy but not too shiny finish.

Thanks all :-)
I've been using a Bobbi Brown foundation this winter which has been a good match so will have a look at their t/m too. And will have a look at Boots Botanics.

Clinique CC is good. It always gives me a good coverage

I can't speak highly enough of of Garnier BB cream.
It covers any blemishes and gives my skin a healthy glow and it contains uv protection and vitamin c
And unlike foundation it doesn't feel heavy on your skin. I'll never go back to conventional foundation again.

Like you I have just tried the Misscha 13. The Botanics is much better.

AbandonShark · 04/06/2015 14:22

I have the Garnier BB Blur and love it. Mixed results with lots of other BB creams as my skin is quite dry in summer, but this one never sinks in to dry bits or lines/wrinkles. And it smells gorgeous!

I love the 'original' Garnier BB cream for normal skin - it gives just enough coverage for a polished/finished look, whilst still looking natural.

I have the l'Occitane BB cream, I love it. Before that I used La Roche Posay CC cream, but the texture of the l'Occitane one is much better - it looks really natural and luminous on.
