A local mobile hairdresser? If its a hospital that often has long-stay patients (like the Walton), have you asked the nursing staff? They have probably come across this before.

They should be able to put you in touch with the mobile hairdresser

I am going to the Walton centre today for an appointment. Unfortunately I am not a hair dresser my friend is but it's the other side if liverpol. Like pp said the staff should be able to recommend a mobile hair dresser.
