If you exercise a lot, do you always wash hair after? What do you do with your hair after exercise?

My hair goes super frizzy if washed too often - is it really gross not to wash after exercise?

I don't always. If I tie it up high, fringe pulled back etc then I don't wash it if it didn't already need it.

I do, but only because I sweat like buggery. I would be smelly and gross if I didn't.
I does mean I have to time my runs/work outs quite specifically.

I just rinse it and let it dry naturally. But my hair is curly so I don't use shampoo, towels or hair dryers on it.

I always wash my hair after exercise. I reverse wash as like you my hair gets frizzy if washed every day. I use conditioner first and then shampoo. It really does work.

it depends how sweaty I am. if is a little bit then I use dry shampoo. If I am dripping then it gets the works.

I try and time exercise with when I would be washing it anyway but if not poss I tie up or sometimes just wash fringe. If particularly sweaty I would wash again but sometimes it is just a casual jog and unless its hot, not too bad.

I reverse wash too to combat greasiness. I read somewhere that no amount of rinsing will get rid of all of the conditioner residue, so if you condition first and then shampoo, you will be left with cleaner hair.

have to, I only do classes where I sweat buckets. Would not bother after yoga or similar.

Apparently fizziness can be caused by build up of conditioner and product as a result of them drying your hair out.

So reverse shampooing as well as keeping greasiness at bay removes the excess conditioning agents and stops frizz.

I have lots of hair but it's fine. It's very prone to frizz (my dad's nickname at school was floss as in candy floss and I inherited his hair!) but it also gets very greasy quickly. Reverse shampooing with a low or
Sls free product has really helped. I'm using treseme naturals. It's cheap as well £2.43 for huge bottle in asda.

I do as I can't bear not to if I've sweated. I exercise most days so my hair gets washed most days. I use a lot of conditioner and serum when it needs it. It does frizz but can't be helped.

That is interesting Help. I have just switched to a sulphate free shampoo and conditioner (LOreal hair expert I think) which is good at keeping frizziness at bay.

I wash mine after swimming (2 or 3 x week) using only shampoo, after other classes I only usually rinse, then wash and condition when it needs it. Strangely enough I thought my hair would be in worse condition once I started swimming again but it's actually much better, maybe it's not using conditioner so often.

I wash my hair every 2 days in the morning so sometimes I will have washed it before doing a fitness class. I don't wash it after classes
