Another breastfeeding wedding guest dress thread!

Can anyone help? We have unexpectedly been invited to a very dear friends wedding, which is lovely but has created a bit of a sartorial crisis for me. I am currently on maternity leave, therefore not much spare cash, perpetually a bit scruffy and (sigh) rather podgy.

So I am really short (5’1 on a good day), totally fine legs, butt and arms, always had big shoulders, but now with crazy post c-section belly, gained loads of weight round my middle, and absolutely huge knockers… (I can’t emphasis this enough!) So 16 on the top and 10 on the bottom!

So what I need is a dress to wear to a ‘church hall’ wedding – so not mega smart - that is suitable chasing after my 2 year old, breast feeding my six month old, that doesn’t instantly show marks (not satin or anything), isn’t black, white, red or pink (too celtic in colouring) and is ideally knee length.

In my head I would love to wear this:

But I think my crazy belly and the fact that is practically black puts it out the question.

In general I like solid colours rather than patterns and love but obviously can’t afford Vivienne Westwood or Roland Mouret interesting shapes style…

Any thoughts appreciated?!

PS – budget circa 100 but ideally less…

Sounds like you would be better off with a skirt and top? Easier for breastfeeding and would solve the 16 top 10 bottoms issue
