Am wondering what body shape she is. Hoping you'll say apple as that wojld give me hope of one day having same fantastic figure (once have got rid of excess 4 stone.....)

No way is she an apple I would guess at a column.

I think she is very straight up and down. But also long bodied. I don't think she is either a pear or an apple, I think if she put on weight she would be sort of wide shouldered and masculine looking, still straight up and down.

She is amazing for 44, or any age come to that. She doesn't have a waist but it doesn't matter as she is slim and toned.

I do get so sick and tired of all of this 'great for 44 'or whatever. Do we all go to bits after 40? There is no reason why women can't look good at any age, if they don't 'let themselves go'.
I think so many women here have such an ageist attitude, as if being a fatty is inevitable either once you've had kids or you are a certain age.

I did say she looked amazing for any age. But realistically not many women I know look like that in their 40s.

You see this is why the whole body shape thing is so confusing. Angelina Jolie is apparently an apple - even though she looks to my eye like a Sam Cam shape. I am clueless how to dress my body shape and am on the look out for celebs with the same shape so I can copy/avoid.

She looks fantastic, but those pics are horribly obtrusive and so unneccessary.

Now I know who stole my missing 7 inches of height.

I don't think you'll find any famous people who are an apple.

If apple is a thing, it is "widest in the middle".

There might be celebrities who would be apple-shaped if they put on weight, but very few who actually are that shape.

You might think that being accidentally famous due to beng married to a politician would allow you to relax a bit and have some fat on your tummy if you wanted to (or if you couldn't be bothered to diet/work out) but apparently the tyrrany of thinness applies to anyone who ends up in the newspaper, whether they chose the circumstances that got them there or not.

I don't think she is an apple, if she did put on weight I don't imagine that it would go to her tummy area. She looks very fit and toned and I have noticed that people who do a lot of cardio exercises don't always have a very defined waist. The woman who does the Shred (Gillian something) she has a similar figure albeit she looks shorter.

I also think and I'm probably wrong that you can only be apple shaped if you are carrying a few excess pounds. I look like an apple and weight does go to my boobs and my belly but when I'm at my optimum weight I have hardly any boobs and a flat tum.
