How long does a spray tan last?

I'd like to get one before going on holiday, just to get me over the initial blueish-white phase!

I know the salons will say a week or so but would like real-life stories please! Will it be gone after a couple of days?

If you get a spray tan go for a salon that uses a quality product such as fake bake or St Tropez. These will last a good few days (about 5).
Unfortunately I've had spray tans using hi shi and zen tan and they were awful, very orange and went patchy after one day.
