Are these too Mother of the Bride?

It hadn't occurred to me that they were, until S&B told me that matchy matchy was out, and also when I found the same brand being touted as "Mother of the Bride" specialists :/
I thought they would have gone brilliantly with black skinnies and a plain but dressy black top for Christmas nights out etc.

What say you S&B gurus? Grin Thanks!

Ps I'm 39 and like to think I dress relatively stylish(ly?)....

I think they would look great with black skinnies :) I would wear them ! And use the bag

burnishedsilver · 31/05/2015 12:22

I don't think they're mother if the bride. I'd prefer to wear either the shoes or the bag, not both together.

AoifeBell · 31/05/2015 13:20

Nice! I like matchy and if I was wearing trousers id likeca matching belt too! Not very mother of the bride though.

Redfox · 31/05/2015 13:27

I like them but would not wear them/use them together, just personal preference

Thisishowyoudisappear · 31/05/2015 15:54

Actually I think at Christmas it would be okay, but otherwise I think it would be better not to wear them together. I don't think they are MOTB.

I think they are fantastic, separately or together, I don't mind a bit of matchy. They would work for all sorts of occasions, all year round. Especially with an all black outfit come Xmas party season.

MixedMessages · 31/05/2015 21:03

Mother of the bride sorry - matchy matchy and wrong height heel

HopOnTheMonnerBus · 31/05/2015 23:09

I agree with MixedMessages
That heel height is a bit 'older' and matching sparkly is the sort of thing my mil does because she thinks 'bling' is fashionable.

The bag with a mostly black outfit would look great though.

Amserhaf · 01/06/2015 01:18

I think it totally depends upon what you wear them with.
