Hi everyone!

I am still getting awful spots after changing my skincare routine!! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!!I am in my late 20's and tend to have spots in my chin area.

AM routine:
-Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser
-Body Shop Vitamin C Cleanser
-Just got PC 2% BHA Liquid exfoliant
-just finished No 7 youthful eye serum and nuxe anti fatigue eye cream- (wont be repurchasing!)
-No 7 Protect and Perfect Advanced Serum with Unna Brenna Vitamin C Serum ( PC 20% vitamin treatment is on the way so will use that as a serum)
-clinque dramatically different moisturizing gel or the body shop vitamin c moisturer
-in transit camera close up mask/moisturiser/prime
-laura mercier tinted moisturizer spf 20

PM routine is pretty much the same as above without the final two products.

I would appreciate any suggestions/help!!

Thank you

Sorry forgot to add the toner products above! I just finished the clinque anti blemish solutions which was no good so just brought clinque mild clarifying lotion today.

You are using too many products!!! I would suggest cutting back to the bare minimum (cleanser and moisturiser) for at least a couple of weeks and wait until your skin settles and all spots go away. Then reintroduce one product at a time, say one new product every two weeks and only if you don't have any spots.
By the way Clinique dramatically different causes many people to break out (including me). Primers are someimes full of silicones which can also cause breakouts. And my skinceuticals vit C serum gave me spots, again because of the silicone.

Hi,
I'd reduce my skincare routine to a three products then introduce new ones. It's fine to use that many products if you know they're all working but with so many factors that could be wrong then there's no point in using all of them.

I'd go back to basics. Basic balm or gentle anti foaming cleanser. Acid toner and sensitive moisturiser. Stay away from mineral oil products.
Spots around your chin area are normally hormonal so it might be worth a trip to the docs for some ethromycin liquid to apply topically to clean up the infected area.

I feel your pain. I've been suffering from shit skin for so long. It;s awful. It really is.

The Cane and Austin facial pads sorted out my hormonal acne when nothing else would. I used Liz Earle cleanse and polish too. The Cane and Austin pads I'd cut in half so that they went twice as far!

hi guys,

you are right, i have too many products and got about 10 more on the way! think i have serious obsession with buying skincare products!!

il use the basis simple routine for now and slowly add one product at a time (not 6 or 7!)
