I need some colour! Last time I used anything was johnson's gradual tan moisturiser but never tanned at home properly. I did once have a spray tan but it didn't go well!
Please talk me through the best way to get and maintains bit of all over colour

The best tan I've tried is Fake Bake 60 minute tan - leave it on between 60 min to 3 hours for your preferred colour. It's the best colour and finish for me.

I've heard many good things about Cocoa Brown which is a one hr tan. There's lots of guidance on the website about how to apply it with the mitt.

Come to the st tropez shower thread, you may find something you like!

Cocoa Brown bought me out in hives. I have very sensitive skin and find most fake tans make me itch like a mad thing. I am on a never ending quest! No itching from Dove gradual tan or Boots No7 which I discovered only a few weeks ago when they had their 5 quid off vouchers. Very interested to find out if there is anyone with sensitive skin who gets on with certain brands of tan. Would rate St Moriz highly although again it makes me itch so no good for me.

I was a fake tan virgin until this week! I bought the St Tropez Tanning Mousse for sensitive skin and it is amazing! I looked up a couple of youtube tutorials (especially for the face) and it was very easy to get on.
I was quite conservative when applying the first time and DH helped me do my back, I tanned my whole body.
After 2 more applications I have a lovely golden tan all over.
I am very pale normally and very blonde (Scandinavian) but this tan did not streak or stain my hairline, eyebrows.
The only negative is that the tan is not tinted so you can't exactly see what you are doing but with a tanning mitt it was ok. I patched up any white areas the next day.
I would recommend it to anyone.

Cocoa Brown 1 hour mousse but leave on for at least 3 to get a half decent colour. Goes on dead quick with a mitt and dries pretty much instantly.

OR

Xen Tan lotion if you've got more time, stays tack for quite a while. The colour is richer and the formulation is moisturising so good for dry skin.
