Eyebrows - where to start?

I have never dione anything with my eyebrows at all. I am wondering whether to do something with them now to improve their shapre - they're sort of OK but thicker towards the inner and fade away a bit to the outside.
I see a lot of threading seats in department stores etc but have to admit to being slightly scared and to be honest not sure exatly what threading is!
I'm getting married in September so want to look as good as I can - is it worth trying this? Just dont want to end up with no eyebrows!

It's impossible to say without seeing them. Can you post a picture?

I'd start conservatively.

Are your brows fair or dark?
Are there a lot of noticeable 'stragglers', or is your brow line pretty well defined.

Maybe go to a beautician and have a chat?

Or post a piccy of your brow here and we'll all pitch in with advice!

Sometimes all brows need is a colourless gel mascara and a little eyeshadow to thicken them so they appear symmetrical.

Look at LisaElridge.com to get an idea of how she 'fills in' her brows, for a natural look.

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials :-)

Personally I wax and haven't tried threading. Once you start with eyebrows you have to keep going. Because the regrowth is messier than the natural look. If they are quite tidy as they are then leave well alone, but if they are a bit unruly then yes go for it. Just tell the person doing it you want to start small rather than a big dramatic surprised look.

My DD (13) has her brows threaded every 4 weeks (so yes, once you get on the rollercoaster, you need to keep up Smile )

She started with below the brow and the middle. Then she had the topline tidied (they used fine scissors) .
Now she has them tidied not too much, just the regrown hairs.
She uses a clear gel .

I have really rubbishy eyebrows (too tweezer happy as a teen - it was IN to have single hair thick brows I tell my DD) so I dye and use Sleek brow wax or Benefit Brow-Zing or ybf pencil, depending what look I want.

You've got three months to sort them, book an appointment and see what they say .Smile
