£16.00 on a lipstick & I don't like it!!

I tried out several Clinique lipsticks at the weekend & bought the new 'pop' lipstick as it looked lovely in the mirror at the counter. I've been wearing it a couple of days & the colour does nothing for me at all & it doesn't seem to last more than half an hour. I'm not happy as it cost me £16.00 & I was treating myself with my birthday money - i have much cheaper lipsticks which are much better than this one.
I don't suppose they'd let me return it would they? I got it from Clinique in Boots.

Clinique are known for being quite good regarding returns. If you react to a product, they apparently are very helpful.

If the lipstick doesn't last more than half an hour on you, then try to take it back. It is advertised as keeping the lips moisturised for 8 hours - I would expect the colour to last at least for half that before having to re-apply.

Email them, you'll be able to get a refund. I had the very same problem but couldn't get back to the store so sent an email explaining the issues and I got a cheque for the full amount and got to keep the product.

Yes you can return it, I bought one and didn't like it so I took it back and got a full refund
