Mumsnet Hair cut for a messy bob

I think I want my hair to look like Brianna from Frankie and Grace. Will the MN haircut do it? If it put the pony tail straight up form my head?
I have naturally wavy hair so though messy bob would be easy to look after. My hair is falling out after having DS2 so thinking a bob rather than bra length hair will be nice. I'm insane aren't I?

Yes, you're insane. Its a good idea but don't do it yourself.

I think having the ponytail straight up will give you major layers. She basically has a bob. I don't think the outcome will be remotely the same.

You could try a pony tail sticking out at just under 90 degrees from your head - this gives you longer layers at the front (and the rest) rather than the mullet-y look of the "traditional" MN hair cut

I think you should try it and post the results here. Grin

So I think that is a big no then. Will book at a hairdresser
