Wedding outfit for the clueless

Right I have a wedding in 2 weeks my first ever wedding!! have been invited to the whole day event.

I have left it a little late to get my outfit together, I don't wear dresses or skirts for a whole host of reasons so going for a trouser/top combo. So avoiding black I was thinking coloured trousers perhaps red with a nice cami and cream blazer or peach trousers navy top and cream blazer, with nice heels and clutch is this acceptable?

Also considering the patterned trousers look appearing everywhere at the mo but is less 'me'

If this is all a no-no can anyone tell me which direction to go in.....

Thank you in advance :)

Patterened trousers, top and co ordinated shoes will be fab for a wedding. Boden do lovely patterened trousers but they are literally all over the hi street. I got some great pale blue and white from Sainsburys. They same quality as any Boden ones I own. Your other option sounds fab too. Both more than suitable. Have a great day

It sounds lovely.

If you get desperate and can throw money at the problem, I recommend Jaeger for good quality separates.
