Need a new work wardrobe that is funky, expensive (ish) and modest.

I am going on secondment to a government department overseas.

What should i wear? Need to cover my knees but don't want to live in black trousers. 2 or 3 good suits would be great but I don't want to be dowdy. I am a size 14 with good legs and a crap middle.

How about a couple of longer dresses?

I've been wearing this to work lately- www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Dresses/Day-Dresses/WH754/Womens-Summer-Wrap-Dress.html?NavGroupID=4 Hits me below the knee because I'm short. :)

I've also just ordered a couple of these- www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Skirts/Below-Knee-Skirts/WG591/Womens-Chino-Skirt.html?NavGroupID=13 which I'll pair with flats and a crisp shirt.

You could also do a maxi skirt and shirt like this- www.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2014413/rs_634x1024-140513160436-634.emma.cm.51314.jpg
