Need a new epilator...any recommendations?

Mine is ancient , very basic.

I waxed my legs a couple of weeks ago, took a load of wax and time and the results were, well, shoddy. Still rubbly hairs even though I'd waited for them to be a good length and they were pulled not snapped (had the hair 'bulb' )

So, I'm looking for a good, effective epilator. Not one of those techy wet/dry ones. Preferably with a 'chill' strip so DD can use it.

Any recommendations (or any "don;t touch with a bargepole " to avoid)

TIA

Always been happy with my basic epilady. I kind of think the original ones are the best with these things. But having just bought a Lumea I am feeling rather evangelical about them! Grin Seriously, they are amazing if your budget will stretch to one and pain-free for your DD.
