Bikini top under tankini?

I struggle to get tankini tops long enough, it seems that even tall ranges/specialist shops/some maternity ranges (!) don't cover me enough (I want to be able to cover my entire stomach, but roll it up if I want - all in one swimsuits never fit properly as I have a long torso).

I've recently ordered a tankini top which is a decent length, but gives zero support to my 36gg chest (think, putting your boobs in plastic bags, hopeless). I'm tempted to keep the top and wear a bikini top underneath - is this a bit odd?

I've tried large cup size ranges, but because I have a tummy when the cups fit the rest of it is too tight (and short).

What do you think? Will a bikini top under a tankini look strange? Any other suggestions?

Not cheap, but that's kind of how Elomi tankinis work I believe - you get a "swim bra" which is basically a bra sized bikini top and then a tankini to go over it. [http://www.elomilingerie.com/swimwear/ss12/isis/bandeau_swim_bra.aspx?colour=black here's a link to one of them]]

The tankinis look pretty long and some of them are flared so would be tummy friendly. first one I found so haven't checked sizing etc

I wear a strapless wonderbra under my tankini. I am very tall so also use the bikini bottoms that roll up for extra tummy cover. I've worn my wonderbra for the last few years under my tankini without any problems. It dries out as quick as my tankini.

They're a sister brand to Freya and fantasie so quality should be decent.

I recently got an Elomi set (new but on ebay - slightly cheaper). I wasnt sure about spending so much but dont regret it at all. And i guess now I have the bra and briefs I can ring the changes with the top and not have to buy the whole system again.

I always worry about tummy exposure so got the high waist briefs which came up practically as far as the bra and did not move at all despite lots of swimming. The swim bra felt really secure and was completely covered by the tankini top. No one got to see anything untoward at any point :-)

I did find the top came up very big though - particularly when it got wet. I originally ordered a size up to get the length but they are actually really long so have just ordered another top a size smaller. I like the look of some of the flared tops but am not sure how they would fare in water, I would be interested to hear from anyone who has one.

Thanks for the tip!
I've also bought a set from eBay (bra and pants) and will add the top I have to this (& look out for elomi offers on theirs).
I have high hopes Smile
