Last minute holiday wardrobe change. Help!

Having thought I had got my holiday wardrobe sorted I have just found out that it won't be quite as hot in the evenings as I expected and that jeans with a dressy top will be fine.

On one hand I am relieved as I love my jeans very, very much and prefer them to the little dresses I have bought to wear. But on the other hand I now have exactly 2 hours tomorrow afternoon to buy myself some new, dressy tops that will work with jeans for the evenings. Can't order on-line as it just won't arrive in time.

Don't want full on glam and sequins (God forbid), but definitely not t-shirts. Must be able to wear a bra underneath as my norks will be around my navel (34FF).

Any inspiration would be very gladly received, as I'm just not going to have time to browse. Local city has all the big name stores to go in.

Help!

There's some lovely kimono style tops everywhere at the moment that will look lovely with a camisole underneath.

HoolaWoman · 23/05/2015 16:57

Thanks Lj8893. My only concern is that they might make me look 6 months pregnant by dint of my fulsome boobs Blush

You could try the open ones (so like a cardigan) with a vest underneath, so they don't hang off your bust. I know the feeling!

I think River Island is always a good bet for this type of top

HoolaWoman · 23/05/2015 17:50

Right, will head into River island and see if they have anything.

Dorothy Perkins had lots of lovely tops the other day too!

Hello! I am a 36g, so hopefully am flattered by similar tops to you.

I like the kimono idea, definitely an open drapey one. New look often have them.

I just bought this camisole in lemon yellow, coral pink and black, I think it suits your brief? Would be lovely with a necklace m.dorothyperkins.com/h5/product?productId=19799828&catalogId=33053&storeId=12552&productId=19799828&langId=-1#

Also I've seen this in real life, and it's made of blouse type fabric, rather than jersey, so could work too

Actually oasis are really good for this kind of 'casual but extra nice' top

That camisole top is a lovely shape. I like the fold over your tummy as mine isn't quite as washboard (ahem) flat as it used to be prior DCs Grin

And that Oasis top looks good. I definitely need a V-neck always, and if it's in a sheer fabric it will be even better.

Thank you Smile
